PROJECT FUNDING OR GRANT APPLICATION

Tom’s Foundation aims to provide, funding or assist in the provision of, resources, education, training, healthcare and community development and agricultural projects in coffee growing communities of Papua New Guinea to prevent or relieve poverty, malnutrition illness, illiteracy and financial hardship in those communities.

Assistance will be limited as it is intended as a ‘hand up’ rather than a ‘hand out’. This is to ensure engagement of the relevant coffee communities to work towards improving their coffee production, build capacity of the farmers and in turn, enhance the well-being and livelihoods of their families.

Community ‘buy in’ is vital. A focus on improving lives and communities in support of a sustainable, self-sufficient and ethical coffee industry is the end goal!
